Leading the Way in Chemical Industry Sustainability

At Exwold, we believe that long-term success requires a firm commitment to sustainable chemical manufacturing. We are dedicated to protecting the planet by championing greener choices, prioritizing recycling, and systematically reducing waste across our entire supply chain. As leaders in chemical industry sustainability, we understand that resilience means balancing environmental stewardship with operational excellence.

By balancing environmental stewardship with financial strength, we ensure a stable future for our people and our partners. Our profitability is the engine that drives job security, builds shareholder confidence, and allows us to deliver competitive manufacturing solutions for our clients. Alongside our partners, we are dedicated to achieving key sustainability objectives that reflect our shared values and our vision for a better future.

Our business, along with our partners, is working towards key sustainability objectives:

Growing a Greener Future

Our company is proud to support TreeApp, a global initiative dedicated to reforestation and environmental sustainability. Through our partnership, we contribute to planting trees around the world, helping to combat climate change and restore natural ecosystems. The number of trees we’ve planted so far is displayed in the widget opposite, reflecting our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on the planet. Together, we’re growing a greener future.

The Path to Carbon Neutral Manufacturing

Our transition toward carbon neutral manufacturing is a central pillar of our strategic vision. The chemical processing sector is historically energy-intensive, which is why Exwold has heavily invested in sustainable infrastructure. A prime example is the installation of over 240 solar panels at our Tofts Farm A plant, transitioning a significant portion of our power demand to renewable sources.

Furthermore, we continually optimise our contract processing techniques (such as extrusion and roll compaction) to reduce energy consumption per tonne of product processed. We work closely with our haulage and logistics partners to minimise supply chain emissions and ensure our incoming raw materials are ethically sourced. By aligning our operational goals with aggressive climate change reduction targets, we prove that robust, high-volume chemical processing can be both economically viable and environmentally responsible.
